I like it quite a lot; it's really the only -bel name I can stand (aside from Mabel, but that's a little different). It's zippy. I pronounce it ZA-bel (kind of like Mabel, but not). I'm not sure how accurate that is, though!

I like it! I think it would look/sound cool with any uncommon name with sort of 'big, round' qualities, if that makes sense. Like Olympia, Joan, Perdita, Winona, Giovanna, Margaux, Morgause, Meliora, Odessa, etc....I like:Zabel Agatha (And I don't even like Agatha)
Zabel Antoinette
Zabel Beatrice
Zabel Beatrix
Zabel Cordelia
Zabel Cressida
Zabel Daphne
Zabel Dorothea
Zabel Eulalia
Zabel Eurydice
Zabel Georgina (prefer Zabel Georgia)
Zabel Marigold
Zabel Octavia (my favorite)
Zabel Rosamond
Zabel Roxana
Zabel Viviane

I know a Zabel :)And she is one salty lady, it's great. It took a little getting used to, saying the name (which she and her family pronounce "ZAW-bell")I really like seeing Zabel paired with an "-ine" middle, somehow it gives it delicate kind of electricityI like your:Zabel Ernestine
Zabel Clementine
Zabel Ottoline
Zabel JosephineAnd I humbly suggestZabel Albertine
Zabel Augustine
Zabel Capucine
Zabel Geraldine
Zabel Celandine
Zabel Celestine
Zabel Honorine
Zabel Leontine
Zabel Marcelline
