[Opinions] WDYTO Laurus?
Laurus - Latin for laurel.I don't know if I'd use it, but I like that it has an old-fashioned vibe while being old enough to be 'ancient' rather than 'old'. It's naturey but also makes me think of a Roman statesman or something. Opinions?

It makes me think of sports awards, which are sponsored by Laureus, which is therefore a company but I've no clue what kind. I suppose their marketing team thought about laurel wreaths and hit upon the sporting link. I think that using it would result in endless confusion with Lawrence, or indeed Laurence, or indeed Laurent!

Lorus watches.Other than that I would like it.I'm a fan of Aulus, though.

Sooo cool, do you mind if I use it for a story? It's so strong, and earthy. I gove it 9.5 out of five stars!

I think I'm stuck between a Prius and a Taurus.

I don't really like it. It reminds me of the animal loris, and also saurus as in dinosaur.

Laurus is cool. I recently fell for Lauro (specifically the combo Lauro Pasquale). Are you pronouncing the AU like bAUer or lAUra (in English)?

Laurus is definitely a find. Personally I'd keep it in the mn position because it's reminding me of a "Lorax" (which if I'm remembering correctly is a Dr. Seuss invention). But I doubt may would think like -- I still think it's usable and very handsome.
