I like Calliope and I like Callie as a nickname. I might have a reservation about using it because people might want to say call-ee-ope rather than cal-ee-oh-pee

I think it sounds goofy. So I picture someone friendly, but pretty dorky. Or a daughter of hipster parents, who goes by Callie because she hates when people mispronounce her name "Cally-Ope" and does not like how stuckup she sounds when she has to say "It's ka-LIE-oh-pee, the name of a Greek Muse" and they say "Oh, I thought that was circus music"
