I don't like it. It's quite a mouthful and she'll probably always get called Max or Maxi anyway. I like Maxine, though. You coul consider Maxina or Maxime, I know a girl named Maxime.

I also know a girl with Maximiliane as her middle name and a Maximilienne. I think they're too long. If you don't mind her being called Max all of the time, go for it.
