[Opinions] Re: Emerald
I don't much like it for a girl, which is how it's usually used and probably what you're intending, but I love it for a boy. I never even considered it for a boy until I saw an obituary once of a man named Emerald, born in 1919. And I was like... dude, that is amazing. It sounds perfectly masculine. There's Emery, Emmerich, Emerson, etc. So as a male name, I think it's strong but has a gentleness to it, and it has a nostalgic, farmer-y feel to it. My favorite combo is Emerald Bartholomew. I never really tried making any more because that one is perfect. But since I guess you want female combos, I do have a few of those too: Emerald Calla, Emerald Evangeline, and Emerald Siobhan.

Yes I agree but I do also love it for a girl though! and that was what I was meaning..thank you for your suggestions but I'm thinking of a more nature inspired name...like Emerald Lily or something? but something more unusual..What do you think?

I think a nature name with Emerald could be overkill, since Emerald already is a nature name. But did you like Emerald Calla? Calla is a lily. :)
