I love this name, much better than Beatrice, I think :) but I can imagine other people thinking it was a bit snobby, because the only people I have heard of with this name are upper class. Which is really annoying!

I really like Beatrix. However, I currently like Beatrice even more. It used to be the opposite.

I imagine her to be quirky but popular. She'd be very free spirited and love to read and express herself through art and dance. She'd probably make her own clothes and be vegetarian

I greatly prefer Beatrice to Beatrix. Beatrix seems overly prickly to me, a harsh sort of lady or a mean girl at school. That said, I think Beatrix seems very intelligent, and I like the Bea- sound, which is why I usually go with Beatrice, while I feel softens the name overall.
