[Opinions] Triplets in the paper
Two girls and a boy: Alva, Lava and Love. (they're Swedish, so Alva's a girl and Love's the boy)Quite a tongue-twister ... They have obviously put thought into matching them phonetically, but instead the modern Lava and the classic Alva and Love look very mismatched to me. I would have preferred something like Alva, Vilma and Love - they still have the similar sounds, but it's less confusing and a better match.

I like your idea of Alva, Vilma, and Love better. They flow nicely. I think Alva is pretty and combined with that and Vilma, Love has an old fashioned feel, but I do not like Lava. It looks too out of place and pulls Love down with it in that sibset.

I'm afraid they'll wish they'd gone for more variety when the trips are big enough to runa around and be called!Lava is distressing. Please tell me it isn't volcanic.

Even before I opened it, I thought to myself...these triplets--like always--are going to have two that begin with the same letter, and a third that does not: something I particularly hate. It's just bad counterpoint. Boo to them.

Now that you mention it, it does seem common. I've seen several sets like that, and it bothers me every time.

Alva- like how some of my students would write Alba- the v sounds like a b in Spanish
Lava- I thought of 'Lava sus manos' 'wash your hands' first. But either molten rock or was doesn't work for a meaning imo
Love- well, if it's a boy's name there, then it's okay. Sounds fem. to me (in US)

Lava? Really? That sounds... destructive.Alva and Love are cute, though.

Indeed ... There were 19 Lava born in Sweden last year and it's increasing. Theoretically it could be the female form of the Danish Lave, but I doubt that's what they're going for ...

Alva and Lava are just the same letters mixed up. Suprised the third one isn't Vala.

Probably because Vala seems to be a girls name (they're Swedish, so Alva's a girl and Love's the boy here, just so you know) and also would be like "Whale-a" in Swedish? ;) They could have gone for something like Oliva, Viola and Olavi though.
