Charmian is really beautiful--very feminine without being oh-la-la frilly. The similarity to Charmin could always be worse; she could be named LaTrina, right?
Charmian is one of those names that's so nice that I'd use it and hope for the best.
Charmian Laurel sounds best of the ones you've listed, I think. How about
Charmian Liesl? (Kidding--that'd be cheesey beyond belief, I know.) In a similarly cheesey vein, I really rather like
Ella Charmian, despite
Ella's trendiness.
Charmian Carr played an
Ella in Sondheim's
Evening Primrose, a televised musical that was aired only once.
I'm not sure what else would sound nice with
Charmian. It's a bit hard to place, for me.
