Help[Opinions] Whimbrel
It a type of bird and I mentioned it recently in a post about nature-inspired names. I just can't seem to get it out of my head now! I think it sounds very airy and romantic as a female name but I know others thought it silly. WDYT? Should it stay a GP middle name?

I do think it sounds quite airy, like you say. However I just don't see it as a real name - I think of words like whimsy and whippet (the dog)...

I think it's romantic as well. And being that it's an actual type of bird makes it even that more lovely!

Not silly. I could die happy meeting a Whimbrel. It sounds like something from an Arthurian romance.

I think of it as a distant cousin of Lord Peter Wimsey! Which is a pretty nice thing to be.
