Veronica no contestVictoria lacks personality for me.I forgot what I would pair it with. Hmmm interesting, I don't have a go-to Veronica combo. Well, let's make one. I want something Hollywood-glitzy and naughty.....Veronica Hedy.

VictoriaVictoria, because when I hear Veronica I think of some feminist, bulky woman. :-/
A weird association, I know.

Veronica as Victoria is overused and also I hate the nn Vicky!S

Victoria! There was a Victor on both sides of our family trees, and I knew a Veronica once who had endless difficulty stopping people from calling her Ronnie or Vera or Nick, none of which she enjoyed one bit. Victoria definitely leads in the nn race.Speaking strictly for myself, I think Veronica has one of the silliest origing/etymologies possible. If you don't think about sweaty textiles, it doesn't sound too bad at all, but it's inconveniently long and the short forms aren't pleasant.

VeronicaWell for me middle names are always honoring names unless the first name is honoring. If I wasn't using an honoring middle name I like:Veronica Elise
Veronica Florence
Veronica Adeline
Veronica Hazel
Veronica Elaine
Veronica Justine
Veronica Iris
Veronica Helen
Veronica Elspeth
Veronica Beatrice
etc.....I love how retro and Medieval feeling Veronica is, but at the same time Veronica doesn't feel like it should only be an old lady name. It also doesn't feel too tied to the 70's and 80's since it wasn't even very common during that time period. It feels fresh, classic, tom boyish and sexy. I guess I like Veronica because I can picture the name working well for so many different personality types. Also it isn't as common as Victoria. Victoria is also a fairly universal personality type name but I grew up knowing so many Victoria's that the name at some point became boring to me. I think I've only ever met one or two Veronica's before. For Veronica I like the nicknames Ronnie, Vera, Verona and Verity. My sister only has two names that she really loves for girls, Veronica and Elliott with the nn Elle and Ellie.

VeronicaVictoria is nice, but so overdone and I hate all nicknames for it.With Veronica at least there's Vera. It's a sassy name with a good meaning.

VeronicaI find Victoria harsh and cold, very cold. My only Veronica pairing is Veronica Daisy, but I'm all about Blythe right now, so I'll suggest Veronica Blythe, too.

I like Veronica only because it's less popular. Victoria does sound and look more regal.
Veronica Louise
Veronica Bliss

Ahhh. That's so difficult. I think I would go with Victoria. I love how Victoria looks so clean and neat, plus I love the nickname Vita. My stock Victoria combo is Victoria Madelief.
