No it looks silly to me. Also I thought Evadne was more of an "ay" sound on the end ev-AD-nay rather than Evadney which sounds like it'd have a long eeee sound ev-ad-NEE

That redundant -y is a vote of no confidence in the pronouncing public. Did the parents really think they needed to save their baby from a lifetime of "evadin'" jokes? They must have a bunch of really depressing friends.

It looks weird.

It looks odd to me. I prefer Evadne by far even though the pronunciation isn't as obvious, but if Zoe, Chloe, and Daphne are well-known names, I think that most people can handle Evadne as well.Evadney Dolores is a bit heavy on the D sounds, but it's still pretty.

I think they "y" fails to make the name cutsey - I do believe that would be the motive to having the y there. Evande (e-vad-ne) certainly has charm not a favourite but I can appreciate it.

It sounds pretty but looks weird. Try Evadne. Dolores is cool. I wouldn't use it because of the meaning but I'd love to see it used again.

I have no problem with Evadne at all. Why the y, though? That makes it look like a mash-up with Rodney or something.

I like the usual spelling Evadne, the Y looks odd.

Evadne is great, Evadney with the Y is not attractive at all to me.
