[Opinions] Haroldeen and Maxceth
Haroldeen (f) and Maxceth (m) was a sib set I saw recently. Seems oddly modern and archaic at the same time, doesn't it?

It DOES sound modernly archaic! that's pretty cool. I think it would look less clumsy if it was Haroldine and Maxeth maybe.

Yes, I agree. Clumsy is the exact way to describe the spellings. In no way, shape or form do I even like the names per say, but I was kind of psyched to see them. It was neat to see a different naming style.

Haroldeen seems modern and awful, looks like someone loved the name Harold (or wanted to honour Harold) but had a girl so they had to "girl it up" a bit, so they put -een on the end. Awful!Maxceth is kind of cool. Reminds me of Macbeth. The XC combination in the middle looks weird though, there are definitely better Max- names out there.

"Oddly modern and archaic at the same time" is an excelleent way to put it. How incredibly bizarre.
