[Opinions] Darien

Standing silent upon a peak in Darien seems like a pretty male occupation! And I suspect that it's also used as a male name in a poem by Robert Graves, but I'm far from my books and can't prove it.
I'm totally with you in disliking Darren! But Darien seems OK, and much more distinguished; rather the same kind of vibe as Damien.

I don't think it's too feminine. I could see how someone might take it that way, but I tend to like softer names for boys anyway. I really like Darian/Darien as an alternative for Darren (which I also like, but is too associated with someone for me to use it for a future child.) And the nickname Dare is awesome.
No, it isn't too feminine, but the spelling Darian IS more masculine.
I know a little boy named Darien.Since I'd nver heard it before, it seems male to me. A good name!
What?!? Darien...feminine sounding? That's ridiculous. Never in a million years would I call Darien feminine; it's definitely masculine in my books.
I don't think it's too feminine at all. In fact I prefer it on a boy.
