[Opinions] Orin, Orrin, Odhran
Which is your preferred spelling? How do you pronounce it? And what do you think? Plus would it go well with Killian.

I like Odhrán and Orán and Odhran. I don't like Orin and Orrin. I think Oran would go well with Killian. Nice Irish names you don't hear much even in Ireland and Oran stays true to the original without causing spelling or pronunciation difficulties for people.

I say OHR-in. I prefer the Orrin spelling. I had a great uncle named Orrin Peter. He went by Pete, but I always liked the name, it's not weird, but the long O sound is warm to me and I think that spelling is interesting visually.Orrin and Killian do go together. I think quite nicely actually, they aren't really similar to me in how they feel, but the origins make them fit rather nicely together and I think it's good they have different feels.

My reply was supposed to go under the OPOut of those three spellings, I'd go with Orrin. Orin is decent, but Orrin looks more balanced. Orrin and Killian go together well.

I think I'd go for Orrin with Killian. They go together fine.

Love Odhran and OranI prefer Oran as it's easier to spell and in Scottish Gaelic it means poem or song rather than 'littl pale green thing' or 'little sallow thing' that Odhran means. I think Killian and Oran/Odhran go well together.

I like this name. I like all the spellings, including Oren and Oran. Odhran is probably the coolest looking but least easy to spell. I think Oren and Oran are my next favorites, and then Orin, and then Orrin. Orin or Orrin would go very well with Killian though.

I was going to say Orrin is my favorite spelling but whith Killiam, maybe you want to skip the double consanant in Orrin and go for Orin. I like Odhran, but I know it would be absolutely butchered where I live (in the northeast US) so I wouldn't even try it.
