Annie is so sweet. I don't like it on its own, but I think you'd have to search hard to find a more sunshine-filled nickname.
Anne is one of my favorite names, so I'd use that, but I also like Anna, Annabeth, and Marianne. I think it's cute for Susan and Susanna, too, and would be a good Angie alternative to any Ang- name.
