I much prefer this spelling over others. Seeing Aurélien pronounced like Aurelian bothers me, because if you're going to spell it the French way, then you should pronounce it the French way.

I love Aurelian. It's so handsome and mysterious and dark. I prefer this spelling to the French Aurelien.

I like it. The meaning gives it a nice image, and visually it's a neat mix of blue to red to black to orange. It's one of those names that's strong and gentle at the same time. It seems understated too, not too bold.
