[Opinions] Azel
I've been fascinated by the name Azel for a few days. I'm not sure of its pronunciation. I've checked around a bit and found a few options: AY-zəl, AZ-əl, AY-zel and ah-ZEL.
What do you think of Azel?
How would you pronounce it?
Middle name suggestions?
Thanks!

Azel is neat! I've honestly never seen it before.
I'd instinctively say it "ah-ZEL".
For whatever reason I like the idea of an Azel Christopher, Azel Crispin, or Azel Christophe. Hmmmm.

I'd guess it was pronounced AH-zəl. It looks okay, but I'm not sold on the meaning.
Thanks!

Personally, it's not my style. I prefer names with musicality and Azel kind of sounds like a blunt object. That says, I don't find anything unobjectionable about it; it just holds no appeal to me.
Pronunciation-wise, my gut instinct say "A-zuhl" (with "A" have the same sound as in "fate". Though I don't know much about Hebrew names, so I'm probably incorrect.

That was my gut instinct pronunciation as well. Thanks!
