[Opinions] Irelynn
yup, Irelynn....its left me speechless

I find it trendy and tacky. It follows the place name trend along with the -lynn trend, so I don't find it all that surprising. I've seen it here and there.
I haven't encountered any in real life, but I've seen tons of them online (I hang out on another name board in addition to this one). I've also seen it spelled Irelyn, Irelynne, and Irelynd. I'm pretty sure there have been kids named Scottlyn and Icelyn, too (wtf, seriously).
I'm not that surprised. I think I've heard of an Irelynn before. Since -lynn is such a common suffix, it was only a matter of time before anything-lynns started popping up everywhere. It's presumably a more "girly" and "modern" and "unique" version of Ireland (which shouldn't be a name anyway imo!)
