[Opinions] Is this how it is pronounced in Greek?
I would only use it if I knew the authentic Greek pronounciation. I don't like how it sounds in English. I would pronounce "hyp" as "hip" (Hippie seems the obvious nn).I read a historical novel about Hypatia long ago, so the name itself is not new to me. But if you are not interested in Greece or history, I suppose it sounds strange."But it’s all right now.
