[Opinions] Re: How do you pronounce
in reply to a message by Lily
I say Brittany with sort of a glottal stop on T, but my tongue touches for the T without making a T sound, and stays a moment for the N, as I'm making the second "syllable."
BRIH(t)'(nn)nee, almost three syllables. If I talk fast, it might sound like 2. Brittany is slightly different from Britney for me, though - the unn in the middle disappears in Britney.
Alana = a LAN a
Alanna, Alannah = same way
Alyssa = uh LISS uh
Elissa = eh LISS uh, but I met one who pronounced it like uh Lisa
Erin = AIR in, Aaron = AIR run
Carrie = Kerry
