[Opinions] WDYT of Dagmar?
I kind of like it, but I would never use it in real life. I like it as a character name.

I love it, and would use it in real life. It's so film noire delicious.

I met a Dagmar when I was studying abroad, she was from Germany. She was sassy and intelligent, they used to call her "Daggie" in her apartment complex. I think the association has made the name for me. I like it! It has a strong female vibe to me that I like.

I don't like it. It sounds so harsh to me, especially the "dag" part in the beginning.

I like it, but it sounds a bit too harsh for me to actually want to use myself. I prefer Dagny. It would be great for a character, though.

I love it! I'm also fond of Dagny.

It's elegant and beautiful name. For us (in Czechia) is women carrying diminutive says Dáša ( Dasha ).

I have always loved the sound of Dasha. I'm not sure why, but I always have. :)

I find it so harsh-sounding. Hard G's in the middle of names are just so gutteral.

I like it quite a bit, though I've been preferring the similar Dagny lately. I love the meaning in particular -- "day maid" -- so evocative of loveliness and light in contrast to the name's heavier sound (which is also quite elegant, albeit in its own way).

Not really the most attractive of names... on the right character, it could work though.

Dagmar is one of my favorites, in real life or for a character.
