I really dislike this. I think Abigail has such strong roots. I can't help thinking of Abigail Adams, and just... Abigayla is just horrible in comparison. It is so contrived, and not even in a way that makes the name sound better, in my opinion.

Hmm. I have mixed thoughts on this one. On one hand, it seems contrived, but on the other hand, it doesn't bother me all that much.

Not bad. I'd like Abigaila more i think, it's less clumsy looking.

I'm delighted that it wasn't a real sighting, or hearing. It looks like something a sentimental eight-year-old would secretly name her doll - the one she hides away so her friends won't think she's babyish.

What do you think of Abigaia? I suppose you could change that to Abigaila if you wanted and that would be nicer to look at than Abigayla at least.

First thought is ew... Like Abigail quite a bit, but something about this - esp. w/ the y in there- that just doesn't do it for me. Could prob'ly get used to the sound though.
