I try to shake the awkwardness of -ina slapped onto a masculine name, but it's so glaringly obvious to me that I just can't. Same goes for Thomasina, Jamesina, etc. However, other obvious feminizations such as Roberta, Bernadette, Victoria, etc. don't bother me at all. Perhaps because they get more use?
