[Opinions] Tempany?
A name I came across, thoughts?

It looks like someone spelled Timpani wrong... If it was Timpani, I think I could almost like it.

Sounds like Timpani - ridiculous

I don't care for it. It's as though someone mashed together the word "timpani" and the names Stephanie and Tiffany.

Liiiiiiiike... Tympany??
I mean at least that would make sense.

I like the sound of it. Reminds me of Temperance, which I've always like the sound of, but not the meaning.
Bleh. Like Rockstar said, it looks like a word name that's not quite a word name. Like they wanted to use timpani or something.
yuck
It reminds me of those made-up names I've seen where it looks like the parent was going for a word name but wasn't willing to use an actual word. Like Atrinity, Sencerity, Signifagance, Aunesti and Shadiamond, all of which I have seen and know to be the names of real people.
Tempany looks like a mish-mash of temporary and company, really. Or some kind of bad headache you might get with ringing in the ears.

Made-up wordish names is exactly what I was thinking. I've seen Psalmody, Lyrique, Le-Royalti, Starydawyn, Phaithphuly, Ja'Hyghness, Myessence, and oh so many more. I find most of them here, on other boards, in web nurseries, or other assorted places on the Internet. I am not around children enough to encounter anything other than Avas, Jaydens, Sophias, etc. in public.
I second the "yuck."
