[Opinions] Mariella or Marietta?
Which do you prefer? Any other Mari- names? Thanks!

Marietta...
I like both of them but I prefer Marietta. My favorite way of pronouncing Marietta is with soft vowels so it is mahr-ee-ET-ə. Both Mari and Etta are great nn.
I'm also very fond of the name Marianna / Mariana pronounced with soft vowels, so mahr-ee-AHN-ə.
Mari, Marija, Marita, Maritza, Marika, Mariska, Marisa, Marissa, Maris, Marina, Mariel, Mariamne, Mariam, Marianne and Marian / Marion are all nice names as well.
Mary is a nice sounding name but it's just a tad bit bland. Maria and Marie are also a tad bit bland.
My favorites in order are Marietta, Marianna, Mariella, Marisa / Marissa and Marina.

Mariella. Marietta makes me think of marionettes and Harry Potter. I also like Marina and Mariana.
I prefer Mariella. Marietta sounds clunkier to me. I don't mind it all that much, but Mariella flows off of the tongue more smoothly.
How about Marielle? I tend to prefer -elle names to -ella names because they don't seem as frilly to me.

Mariella, I prefer, the etta sounds a bit harsh where as the elle bit always charms me, they're both lovely names :) may I suggest Marina? Also Mari sounds nice on its own
