I've never met a Drew - I don't think it's very popular in Wales or England. It's okay.
Of the seven Andrews I know, one goes by Andrew, one by Andy (he's 50-something) and all the rest are almost never called by their first name and use entirely unrelated nicknames, probably to dodge getting called Andy. It's kind of odd that they never thought of Drew.
