What's wrong with Erin?

As a full name, I prefer Erin. However, Arrington was my maternal grandmother's maiden name, my mother's middle name and my middle name. I've considered using Arrington as a first name with the nn Arrin or Arin.

Arin could also be used as a nn for Ariana, or maybe Adrienne.

I think it would get mistaken for Aaron, boy's name, all the time.

I dislike Erin, and Arin. In my opinion Arin could be a different spelling of both Erin and Aaron. I prn Arin and Aaron differently, but I could def. see someone use Arin instead of Aaron.
