Help[Opinions] Duane
I think I really like the name Duane. It just occured to me, since normally I've seen it spelt Dwayne, which I can't stand. But Duane seems rather nice and old-fashioned. Wdyt?

In North America, I've found that many associate Duane with redneck children born in the 1950s and I have to say that I'm one of them. Sadly, due to the usuage of Dwayne many have assumed its just a tacky elaboration of (the equally unappealing IMHO) Wayne.

I find Duane a very masculine name. I prefer it to Dwayne, big time.

Duane/Dwayne is nmsaa. Every time I hear it I think of the old knock-knock joke punchline "Duane the bathtub I'm dwowning."
