First spelling is the best. It was really popular when I was a kid so 8'm not a big fan.

Courtney (this spelling, please) is OK, but it seems to blend in with the Lindsey/Lindsay and Sydney crowd. I guess now that the popularity has waned, it would stand out a bit. I just think there are a lot of much better names out there. Vanessa, for example. This is a beautiful name and carries so much more dignity than Courtney.

I like the name Courtney (only this spelling)and think it's pretty!

Its not that interesting to me, but it is a interesting sounding name and I definitely don't think its an ugly name. It is common but it is cute and there are worse common names out there.

I don't think it's really ugly. Something about it annoys me a little, I'm not sure what. The "Court" sound is a just a little annoying. I never would have used it. I was aware as far back as 1974 that it was becoming trendy, because my sister used it as a middle name that year, and I started babysitting a little girl named Courtney who was born that year. So I've always thought about it, "Um, no." I far prefer the Courtney spelling to any other.

I like Courtney a lot. I know that statistically it's very common but I think I might have only met two of them in my life, plus I knew that somebody's sister was named Courtney. I really only like that spelling, but I don't mind Kourtney or Cortney.

I like Vanessa too, but I don't think Courtney Vanessa flows all that well. Vanessa Courtney does flow a bit better.
