[Opinions] Edric

yes!
i actually like it. i first heard of it reading the George R. R. Martin Song of Ice and Fire series. i don't usually like any "Ed" names, but this one has been growing on me. i like that you can use the nickname Ric/Rick. i like it better than Cedric, which sounds a little wimpier, and is also (imo) too associated with Harry Potter/Robert Pattinson. he could be confused with Eric sometimes when people are spelling it or at first glance, but they don't sound very alike, so i think it's totally okay to use! different, but not TOO different.

It sounds handsome, but I do think it might be confused with Eric or perhaps Cedric, Edward, or another Ed- name. It might be annoying to someone who is named Edric who has to deal with people mistaking his name for something else on a regular basis, but then again, people can even mix up popular names (ex. calling someone named Jessica Jennifer).
It sounds a bit harsh to me. I don't like it.
