What is your opinion on Everard for a boy? Is it usable (in England)?Any combo ideas?

I kinda like Everard, even though it doesn't fit my style at all. Sometimes I think it's really cool; other times I think of an aristocratic guy. It sounds usable to me. I don't know why it's never been that common: after all, Bernard and Leonard are well known. (My theory is that it's because those two names have common nicknames. Everard does not.)I do know two guys named Everett (a surname derived from Everard), as well as a guy named Eberardo. But it would be really cool to meet an Everard.

I like the Ever-part, I like the -ard part, but for some reason I dislike them together. Everard is just too much. I prefer Everett and Edward, even though I'm not a big fan of Edward.

Absolutely usable. I prefer Everett, but Everard is fine too.

Teasing alert - "ever 'ard" - geddit?

Everard seems sort of whiny to me but I like the aesthetic regardless. I can't speak for England, but it certainly has a modern appeal and I wouldn't be surprised if it had a comeback.

I think it's still perfectly reasonable, I live in England and I think that it is not something you hear everyday but also not crazily out of place either.
Some of my personal combo ideas include:
Everard James/Jay
Everard Luke
Everard Mac/Mack
Everard Andrew
Everard Nicholas
Everard Riley
Everard Jacks
Everard AnthonyHope this has given you some ideas :)
