I really like the name Ivy.
I've only met one Ivy. This was around 10 years ago. She was a lovely, vivacious, red-haired little girl of about 4. She is around 14 or 15 now.
I.V. did come to mind for me in the past, but it doesn't bother me all that much anymore. I stress the first syllable of Ivy and the second of I.V., so they don't sound exactly the same when I say them.
