Sounds quite unappealing to me and feels like something's missing.

I think it's really handsome, but I think it looks more complete spelled Eamonn.

I always thought this name was horrid because I assumed it was pronounced EE-mun. Which rhymes with semen. Which just didn't sound like a great name. Now that I know the correct pronunciation, I don't mind it so much. I still don't think it's counter-intuitive pronunciation makes it wonderful for use outside of Ireland.

I like it, but it's not one of my favorites.

I absolutely adore Eamon! It's probably my favorite Gaelic name. It's quite handsome without being too soft or two rugged sounding. I also love that it's related to Edmund, my favorite boys name.
Eamon isn't at all popular in the USA but it's fairly easy to spell so I think it would work quite well. It's probably a bit more used in the UK and Ireland (not sure about Australia) but I think even there it's not as popular as many trendier names. Love Eamon! :)

I adore it. I prefer the Eamonn spelling, but Eamon is fantastic as well. I worry about pronunciation where I live, but it seems to be catching on more now. I just hope that it catches on as "AY-mun" and not "EE-mun." That would be unfortunate. :-/

I think it kind of sounds like 'amen', depending on your accent. I think it's okay. People might mispronounce it as EE-men or EE-mon or something.

I prefer the Eamonn spelling but I love the name.

I love it. I knew an Eamon some years ago, and he definitely made me like the name more. I think it's a lovely sound.
