I love this name but do you immediately think of Celine Dion? This is on my girls list.

I do think of Celine Dion, but that's not a bad thing. In fact, that makes me like the name a bit more. It has a very pretty sound, and I much prefer this spelling to Selene.

It's my cousin's name, though she spells it somewhat kre8tyv. So I think of her, and Celine Dion.
But I think it's usable. Sure, people might not like Celine Dion, but it's not like she's a super bad association or something.
