It's always nice to see Welsh names getting used, nicknamey or not. I pronounce it CA dee, rhyming with daddy. It's a pretty, simple little name that would go with a lot of things. Here's some middle names given to Cadis in the last 20 years:

I think it's cute, but it seems too nicknamey. It should be pronounced KA-dee, and that's how I say it. But I have a friend with a 4 year old daughter by that name and they pronounce it like Katie (KAY-dee), though they did use it specifically to be the Welsh name.
