Hrm. I like the way it looks and sounds, but it reminds me too much of Aleve! It also looks like Eleven minus the n. It would probably be okay as a middle name though.
You could also use Evie (Ev- from Eve and -ie from Ellie), but that could seem like it is only honoring Eve. Maybe Elvie? It might look too much like "Elvis" though :P
