Looks amputated. I keep expecting a long name, and then it suddenly stops. And the only Christa I know is a hectic go-getter who cuts corners ... not the best!

Christa is the only spelling I could imagine enjoying; I wouldn't consider it, though, because it suggests a firm religious position that I don't hold.

I prefer the more elaborate and elegant Christabel, but Christa is all right. I prefer the Christa spelling rather than Krista for some reason. It seems neater.

I like it. I like Krista much better. I only personally knew one Krista, an internet friend of many years. She's around 42 I think. I guess the name is kind of dated but since it was not so popular as, say, Heather or Brittany, and its use has been spread out over a longer period, it doesn't seem as dated as those names.

I have a cousin named Krista, and I prefer that spelling. It's okay, but it feels a tad unfinished to me. Not my favorite Chris- name.

It was never popular enough to become super dated, imo, but few of the Chris-/Kris- names feel all that fresh at this point.

I like it. It sounds crisp and energetic. I like both Krista and Christa almost equally, but I slightly prefer Krista. I don't think it's too dated.

I used to really like it, as sort of a GP, in the 80s/90s. I still like it. After Cristina, Christa is probably my second favorite Chris name.

The name was really common in my generation (born 70s). I don't think it is "too" dated to use. It was a GP because in my personal experience, it and the other Chris/Kris names were the typical names for girls who were several shades more goody-two-well-heeled-shoes than myself. I like Christa a tiny bit better than Krista. The K makes it less snooty, and makes it not have Christ in it. I just like the crunchy-ice-cream feeling of the ch and st together.

Christa is alright. I think it can stand on its own as a name, but I prefer it as a nickname. I don't consider it "dated" and don't care for the Krista spelling at all.

I think of it as a nickname of Christina or something of the such. It's not a name that I dislike, but I don't love it either. Definitely prefer Christa.
