Help[Opinions] Large celeb (kind of) sibset
Troy Dunn, who helps adopted people find their birth families, co-hosted 'The View' this morning. He and his wife, Jen, have seven kids and are expecting their 8th... and I have to say, their naming style is pretty awful:

So the boys get a matchy dad name and the girls get a matchy mum name. They all sound so alike its ridiculous.

Trevor, Trace, Josalin (but maybe not this spelling), and Trey as a nn at least are names. Jennica is okay. But Trestoon and Trendon?

Treston sounds a lot like Dresden
Josalin - have never really been keen on the name Jocelyn because it sounds too much to me like "jostlin'" - ugh, this spelling is only making it worse
Trendon - what was wrong with Trenton??? Trent > Trend as a NN any day of the week
Trace - I second others in wishing this was Tracy nn Trace. I would practically pee my past if I were to encounter a young male Tracy.
Trey - Trace AND Trey??? WHY??
Jennica - sounds like a medication to me but I guess it's not TERRIBLE, in comparison that is

Trevor - hmm, it's kind of "old English lord" to me. Not that bad.
Treston - looks like "pressed on". Horrible.
Josalin - don't like it. Josephine is much cuter.
Trendon - looks like "trod on". I don't like names that sounds like English villages.

Looks mostly like a child named a collection of matching dolls and ran out of ideas.
Trendon and Treston in particular... they're so nothing, in context. And Trey is lost too. But I guess when these kids grow up and escape into the real world, they'll just have unusual names. So, not so awful, I guess. Track, Trig, and Bristol are all worse than any of these. I like Trevor. I wish Trace was Tracy nn Trace.

Why do all these mega-families follow such horrible trends? Those names are totally without substance and bland. If I had eight kids to name, I'd have more fun than that ...but, to each their own.

I think they're borrowing a page from the Duggars' tacky book. And I think Trendon sums it all up nicely.

T for boys and J for girls. Eww. And naming a child Trey, when father's name is Troy and older brother Trace? Trevor and Trendon...
I wouldn't say they have a bad naming style, but rather; they don't have any style. I kinda like Josalin, but that's about it.
