[Opinions] WDYTO Krista?
Do you find it too dated? Suddenly I find myself drawn to the KRIST- prefix, though I haven't been able to find an actually Krist- name that I find very usable. For example I'd like the look and sound of Kristal, if it wasn't for the fact that it was a creative variant of the word-name Crystal. So anyway, perhaps the simple Krista is an option?

Yes, I find Krista to be very dated.

I think it's cute. I also like Crystal and since it sounds exactly the same as Kristal, I don't see why you can't use that.

Krista / Christa is strictly a nn to me, however, I find it to be the prettiest of all the nns belonging to Christina / Kristina, Christiana / Kristiana, Christiane, Christine, etc. I don't think it's too dated at all since I've never known a single person bearing the name. Between Kristal and Krista? Krista, hands down. It's lovely.

I love Krista. It seems friendly and down-to-earth, a girl next door. I definitely don't think it's too dated. I also like Kristen and Kristin.
