[Opinions] Crestina?
I was looking on ancestry.com and in some of my family records, there was someone named Crestina. It's a variant on Christina/Kristina, but what do you guys think about it?

The "Crest" part makes me think "crust," which in turn makes me think "crusty" and invariably the image of a weeping, crusty wound pops into my head. Needless to say, it's a no-go for me.

I am not a fan. I have a personal aversion to most "Chris" names, so it would make sense that this would be a nice alternative...but I just think of toothpaste. "Colgatina" anyone? It's nice that it has family signifance to you though, and for what it's worth, I tend to have random associations for most names! I guess that's why my list of 'usable' names is so short!

I have the same problem! I just had the urge to look up some old family stuff, sometimes it's quite weird .. seeing names of really old family members that have the same names as current members you have with you now. xD

lol:) That's funny, I wondered if I was weird in these associations! I love looking through old family names too, but have found that, like you said, most of them have been used again in current generations...and the ones that haven't are just plain weird (although still good middle name fodder!)
