Help[Opinions] Florentina
Looking for some general feedback and comments on Florentina. It sounds very pretty to me, and I like the possibility of using Flora and Tina (and maybe Fina) as nicknames. WDYT of it? Would it sound pretentious in an English-speaking context?

I love how ornate Florentina is! I prefer Flora to Tina as a nickname, though since I love Flora as a given name, I prefer Florrie as a nickname.

It does remind me of cooking, but I think that could be overcome if it were on a live, actual child - particularly with a cute nickname. It's not my favorite name, but I do somewhat like it.

More culinary than pretentious, I think! It reminds me vividly of spinach sauce.
That said, it is a mouthful! Pity that Flora has become margarine; Florence seems to be rising in popularity, and is certainly a more manageable name. But Florentina is more versatile in that it could also shorten to Tina as well as the more usual Florrie, Renee and Flo.

It reminds me too much of Italian cooking to be taken seriously as a name. It's on par with naming a child Saltimboca or something along those lines.
I would with the similar-sounding Fiorenza. (Flora and Tina as nn wouldn't work, but Fina could).
