Love Dmitri, especially this spelling. Dmitri Isaac is my stock combo. Nns? Dima ("DEE-muh") is the Russian nn. You could always make something up like Dimo ("DEE-mo") or Mitty?

So I am now in love with this name. I'm having a hard time with middle names but I like Dimitri Alexander.

My favorite boy's name. I've always been fond of Dmitri David.

I like it a lot. Though I do prefer the spelling Dimitri. I'd even consider using it. I think it sounds really friendly, even though I've heard others say it's mysterious and dark.

Where I live (Canada), no. For some reason, I feel like it would incite people to do Russian accents all the time!

I love it, it's very beautiful. But I wouldn't use it. It would sound so strange on a Swedish boy. On a Russian boy it would be lovely, though.

I love Dmitri! This spelling is the coolest, I also like Dimitri.I read someone online saying it sounds like da meat tree, so now I think of that stupid comment when I see this name. Regardless, I would be delighted to meet a Dmitri or to name a son this name.

I think the name is very handsome. Sweet and adorable but at the same stong and domineering. My family is Greek so the name is familiar to me. My non Greek husband thinks the name is "odd" - alas so that means there will no baby Dimitri for me.
