The prophet and his whale are so depressing that I can't shed the association. There must be plenty of other ways to have a son called Joe - Joseph and Joel spring to mind!

I love the name Jonah, it's such a great name.

I like it a lot. It's soft and peaceful, fittingly. I greatly prefer this to the Jonas spelling.

I like it but then again I like most Biblical names, especially the ones that aren't as commonly used. I'm also a pretty big fan of Judah and Ezra.
