Caio is wonderful! It brings a smile to my face every time. Er ... what are its origins? I've tried to imagine a Welsh family commemorating
Nicholas
(OK,
Nikolai
) or
Caius
Cassius
with his lean and hungry look, but without success.

Caio was originally a nickname for
Cai
, as in the Sir
Kay
of Arthurian legend. I like it much better than
Cai
.
