I actually really like it...which is weird because I dislike similar names like Hunter because they sound too violent and barbaric to me. Archer doesn't remind me of someone hunting though, it sounds more like a sport.
Anyways, I think it's nice :-)"Bob Loblaw's law blog."- Say that 5 times fast

I honestly prefer Archer as a girls' name, nickname Archie. It's nice for a boy too though. Fresher than Archibald. I'm not so fond of Reilly. It's far too trendy._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

Personally, I'm not a fan of the name Archer. It's quite NMS.
Reilly is nice, though I prefer Riley.

Archer...might go well along with a brother Fletcher, perhaps? :-/ I don't like it; it's way to bow-and-arrow oriented for me.

Archer is fine, it is one of those occupational names I don't mind when used as fisrt names. It goes well with Reilly - although I have to add that I would suggest to use Riley instead.
All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

I'm not a fan of the name Archer, personally (and I hate the nn Archie - reminds me of Archie Bunker). I prefer the alternative Bowen.Reilly and Bowen sound good, imo :)

I like it and I love the nickname Archie. I think it goes pretty well with Reilly. A lot of people think it's too occupational and surnamey, but I think it's a nice name.

I usually don't like surname names (or occupation names), but Archer sounds quite nice. I like it. I really hate Reilly, though, because it's so boring and overused.
