Went to elementary school w/ a gal named Tiann (prn. tee-ann)... finally found out it was a smooshing of Tim and Ann... which wound up being much nicer than some other smooshed names I've heard of... another decent one was a dorm-mate in uni named Milann... combo of Mildred and Ann...

Just thought it would be refreshing for people to see some smooshed names that actually work and sound decent.

Milann... almost looks like an overgrown Milan, but at least it's better than Mildred.

I actually met a Milan once... His daughter went to the same uni I did.

My daughters middle name is Marissa..a "smooshing" of Margaret and Melissa.

Interesting... and it also happens to work as a regular name even w/out the smooshing, so many wouldn't notice w/out the story.
