[Opinions] Re: Clara, Calla, Winifred and Nimue

1. I like both Clara and Calla, but it is obvious that they are too much alike, so I'll have to choose. Both names have their advantages: Clara is a classic, and it would honour my late grandmother, Klára (see Klara), while Calla is different, and has a lovely meaning. My question is, which of these two would you use? Furthermore, do you like Clara Pearl or Calla Iris?-I prefer Clara. Calla just doesn't sound as nice, and Clara honors your grandmother (and I love the name). Clara Pearl is simply gorgeous! Calla Iris doesn't really flow, and is a little themey.
2. I loved Nimue since I heard the name (I was about ten that time), but thought it was way too "out there" to be used. But when I add names like Rhea to my list, I feel leaving Nimue out is not justified anymore. To add or not to add, that is the question... and, as always, middle names.-I really hate it, sorry. I thought it was NIM-ooh, and probably most people will say it that way on first glance. It doesn't look or sound very nice. Nimue Sophia, Nimue Lily, Nimue Charlotte, Nimue Christina, Nimue Elena
3. I need opinions on Winifred. First of all, Winifred or Winnifred? Is it Winnie the Pooh, or an interesting and delicate name? What do you think of Winifred Ivy? Ivy Winifred (hard to pronounce)? Winifred is a million times better. Winnifred just looks misspelled. I don't think of Winnie the Pooh, but an ancient, wrinkled lady. I really think it sounds extremely ugly. Maybe it's the FRED sound. Ugh. Ivy Winifrend is nice, as is Winifred Ivy.
