[Opinions] Rosemary
My hometown has a zoo where one of the star attractions was Rosemary, a black bear. Unfortunately, Rosemary passed away a couple of days ago, and we're all a bit sad. She had been around since before I was born, and she was a beautiful bear. So, in honor of her, I thought I'd ask what y'all think of Rosemary. Good, bad? Neither? Sick of hearing it? Post whatever you want.

It's my name and I'm very amused to find that it was the name of a bear! Aw, sad that she has died though.I don't really have an opinion of my own name other than, I hated it growing up but don't mind it now.

LOVE Rosemary! I wish it were my middle name in place of Elizabeth. It I s beautiful, timeless, and a wonderful herb to celebrate.

One of the best Rose names. I like it very much and enjoy meeting new ones.

It's not on my "must use" list, but I like it... and would much rather see that on a child than some of the current trends... Just make sure she doesn't have a sib named Basil or Ginger or Sage.

Aww, that is sad. :( I love Rosemary and am very tickled by the idea of it on a black bear!

I'm very fond of the name Rosemary actually, as it combines two names which I find beautiful.

I like Rosemary. It's one of my favorite Rose names, along with Rosalie and Rosalind. I like that you can use either Rosie or Romy as a nickname, and in full it's appealingly vintage.

It's okay. I like it on paper. I don't think I'd want to be named it, though, or to call a daughter it. I prefer just Rose, or just Mary. Rose is a big strong power name IMO, and so's Mary. But Rosemary is more demure and herbal and pretty. It's a little droll on a bear ... not absolutely droll. Hm. Picturing it on a bear makes me like it more, heh.

I think Rosemary is a cute name. When I was younger, I had always thought of naming my daughter Rosemary. Her sister would've been Julie.
