I'm shocked to see this name occasionally pop up on message boards. It's a huge favorite of mine, one that would probably be my top choice if it wasn't quite so odd.
Maybe as a mn.... I don't think I'd use it as a first though. I see no harm to having it on a name list though!
I like Clara more than Calla. I just don't really like the way Calla comes off my tongue -- it's almost awkward to say. Paired with Iris, I find it a little too floral.
I don't care for Winifred much. It just doesn't seem very usable to me. It makes me think of Winnie from "The Wonder Years."
