[Opinions] Magella
for a girl, pronounced liked like Magellan. I was thinking it could be used as a NN for Michelangela, mayhap? WDYT of it either way?

I think Magella is wonderful. You are right that it would make a perfect nickname for Michelangela. Personally, I don't like Michelangela, so I'd just go with MAgella. It's very pretty and spunky and memorable.

I know a MagellaShe is my Aunt's best friend and I've known her forever so it seems normal to me...I have never given much thought to the fact that I've never met or heard of another one until now!I like it a lot. It works well in real life IMO, ages well, cute nn potential. I don't think it needs a full name.

Magellan is exactly what I thought of when I saw the title. Then Magenta ran through my head. Sorry, it's not exciting me. Then again, if it's only a nn and she's got a fabulous formal name like Michaelangela to fall back on, I'm inclined to give you a pass on this one -- as long as it's a nn. I'd love to think of it evolving into Madge. :-)
